Use policy for the AI-powered content generation system.
Transparency notice on AI-assisted content
In compliance with the transparency obligations of the European AI Act, PixUP Web Business SL discloses that certain texts and images published on the website vanadian.io have been produced with the support of artificial intelligence assistants, including the proprietary Vanadian AI engine. All content has been reviewed and validated by qualified human staff prior to publication.
1. Nature of AI-generated content
Content generated by Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems is produced automatically from deep-learning language models. These systems, although powerful, do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, currency or fitness of the generated content for any specific purpose.
The Vanadian COAS (Content Operational Automated System) engine operates within a personalised, dynamic context environment, trained on the client's real business data, corporate style guide and sector references to minimise the risk of hallucinations, without eliminating it completely.
2. Mandatory human review
All content generated by AI through Vanadian COAS must be reviewed and approved by a qualified human professional before being published or distributed. The system implements a visual editorial governance panel with six states (assistance disabled, assistance scheduled, proposal execution, proposal awaiting review, human validation and publication, manual modification) that ensures full traceability of every item.
The user who validates and publishes the content is solely responsible for its accuracy, legal adequacy and veracity. Vanadian COAS never publishes autonomously: the algorithm proposes and the human team approves.
3. Liability disclaimer
PixUP Web Business SL, as the provider of the Vanadian platform, assumes no liability for direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use, publication or distribution of AI-generated content without the required human review. This includes, without limitation, factual errors, misleading information, infringement of third-party rights or non-compliance with applicable regulations.
Liability for the content ultimately published always rests with the user or entity that validates and authorises publication through the editorial governance panel.
4. Data processing
Use of the Vanadian COAS content generation system involves sending item data (titles, descriptions, metadata) to external AI services for processing. The language model providers that may be used include: OpenAI, Anthropic (Claude) or other comparable providers, selected according to quality, language and compliance criteria.
The user or client accepts this processing by activating the AI functionality. Data is processed in accordance with the privacy policy of the external service and applicable regulations (GDPR, LOPDGDD).
Personalised, dynamic context data (style guide, sector glossary, business model, copybranding) remain permanently hosted on European servers in Barcelona under the technical management of PixUP Web Business SL, with a 100% renewable green infrastructure certified by the CNMC and recognised by the Green Web Foundation.
5. Known limitations of generative AI
AI systems may generate content that appears plausible but is incorrect ("hallucinations"), that does not reflect recent changes in regulations or prices, that fails to adapt appropriately to the business's specific context, or that contains biases present in the training data. Users must bear these limitations in mind at all times.
The measures implemented in Vanadian COAS to minimise these limitations are:
- Personalised, dynamic context · trained on real business and sector data.
- Mandatory human validation · no content is published without professional approval.
- Visual governance panel · intermediate provisional state before publication.
- Full traceability · auditable record of proposals, modifications and approvals.
6. Compliance with the EU AI Act
Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 13 June 2024 laying down harmonised rules on artificial intelligence (AI Act) entered into force on 1 August 2024 and is subject to phased application. PixUP Web Business SL undertakes to:
- Transparency (Art. 50 AI Act): clearly inform users when they are interacting with content generated or substantially modified by AI.
- Labelling of synthetic content: identify AI-generated content using formats readable by both humans and machines where technically feasible.
- Risk assessment: Vanadian COAS is not classified as a "high-risk" AI system under the AI Act, as it is intended for the generation of editorial content with mandatory human oversight.
- Data governance: use of quality, traceable training data, in respect of intellectual property rights.
7. Compliance with Spanish regulation
This use policy is aligned with the Spanish regulatory framework on artificial intelligence, including:
- The draft Spanish Artificial Intelligence Act (Anteproyecto de Ley de Inteligencia Artificial), which adapts the AI Act to the Spanish legal system.
- The Spanish Agency for the Supervision of Artificial Intelligence (AESIA) as the national competent authority.
- Applicable general regulations: GDPR, LOPDGDD, LSSICE and intellectual property regulations.
8. Discreet labelling of AI-assisted content on this website
A discreet notice appears in the footer of every page of this website indicating that certain content (texts and images) has been produced with the support of artificial intelligence assistants, including the proprietary Vanadian AI engine. This complies with the transparency obligations of the AI Act and allows visitors to know the origin of the published content.
9. Updates to this policy
This policy may be updated to reflect regulatory changes (in particular, developments in the AI Act and Spanish regulation), technical changes (new AI models or providers) or operational changes. In the event of material changes, users of the Vanadian COAS system will be asked to accept the policy again. The current version is always accessible from the administration panel and from this URL.
